3.5 km from the historic center, easily reachable by car, bicycles freely available to our guests for the entire stay, or by the shuttle bus service which stops less than 150 meters from our B&B with rides every 25 minutes. "La Bella Lucca" is located very close to the Serchio River Natural Park; along the river park it is possible to walk, go horse riding, go up the river by canoe, practice kayak or simply admire the beautiful scenery. For bicycle enthusiasts, a 40 km route along the banks connects Lucca to the west with Ponte a Moriano and to the east to the Tyrrhenian Sea in Marina di Vecchiano. The cycle path allows you to reach over the historical perimeter walls, allowing a beautiful panoramic tour "over" the city, taking advantage of the cycle ring of the walls; a defensive stronghold of Lucca that probably represents the best example in Europe of modern fortifications that have been preserved in a big city. Torre del Lago Puccini, with the beach and nightlife and with its Gran Teatro open-air G. Puccini; Versilia with all the exclusive coast from Viareggio to Forte dei Marmi and the inland hills, are all sites at a distance of 20 minutes by car and easily served by public transport services
